From horror screenwriter Seth Sherwood (Leatherface) comes a manga-influenced story about an outcast teen, Chloe, and her imaginary boyfriend, who was supposed to boost her confidence. But when he comes to life, his obsession turns deadly, forcing her to confront a nightmare of her own making.

Chloe, an outcast teen relentlessly bullied by everyone, conjures up an imaginary boyfriend to boost her confidence and win the approval of her peers. To her surprise, the plan works, and she soon lands a real boyfriend, believing her life has finally turned around. But her excitement turns to terror when the imaginary lover she created comes to life, determined to eliminate anyone who stands in the way of their twisted connection.

From horror screenwriter Seth Sherwood (Leatherface) and up-and-coming artist Elisa 'Pocci' Pocetta comes a story of dreams coming true... and transforming into nightmares.

About The Author
Seth M Sherwood is an Emmy-nominated Los Angeles-based screenwriter, director, designer, and producer. His feature screenwriting credits include Leatherface for Millennium/Lion's Gate and Hellfest for Valhalla/CBS Films. He also provided uncredited on-set script work for London Has Fallen. On the TV side, Seth has staffed on two teen-horror shows with Awesomeness TV: The Unsettling and Light as a Feather for Hulu. He's also written for the forthcoming Wytches for Amazon. He has developed original pilots with Amblin TV, Valhalla Entertainment, and Universal.

Elisa "Pocci" Pocetta was born in Avezzano, in the province of L'Aquila, in 1990. She has been drawing comics for as long as she can remember, reproducing her favorite cartoons in rambling and asymmetrical vignettes before creating her own stories. After graduating from high school, she attended and graduated from the International School of Comics, and a year later, she decided to begin a webcomic entitled 'Hi/Lo'. In 2014, she drew and colored a small extra episode based on a script by Salvatore Callerami for the first volume of his beautiful 'Dandelion', and she is part of the collective 'Niriides', participating in the group's first self-produced calendar with an illustration. She loves drawing dreamy children, beautiful girls, and coloring starry and mysterious skies.

Brought up on the wrong side of the tracks in a bustling metropolis in Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada, Charles is really terrible at writing biographies of his life and times. Someday he will retire, think about writing his memoir, and then put it off until it's too late. He currently lives in Canada's smallest--and best--province where he is outnumbered by powerful women in his own home.

Frequently asked questions

Visit FAQ Page

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free shipping on all orders over $75.

As a small, growing shop, we partner with trusted distributors to ship books directly to you. This allows us to offer a much wider selection while we build toward our first physical space.

We also use tiered shipping, which means the more you add to your cart, the lower the shipping cost per book becomes. So that means, even if you’re not quite at $75 yet, it often makes sense to grab one more volume and save overall.

Why shop with you instead of big retailers?

Every order supports a small, Latina-owned manga shop built by real fans who care deeply about the stories, the art, and the culture around it.

We curate with intention, not algorithms, and we’re building something bigger than a storefront: a space for collectors, readers, and fans to connect.

What is your return policy?

Because of how we currently fulfill orders, we’re not able to accept general returns at this time.

The only exception is if your order arrives damaged or incorrect. If you experience either, please reach out to us at casitademanga@gmail.com
and we’ll be more than happy to personally help you with a damage/error return.

Can I cancel or change my order?

We move quickly to get your order on its way.

If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to catch it before it ships. Once it’s on the way, we’re unable to modify the order.
